Soundarya Natya Kalalaya Foundation

Guru Smt. Padmini Radhakrishnan founded Soundarya Natya Kalalaya, Mumbai in 1980 - an institution dedicated to teaching the art form of Bharatanatyam, a classical form of dance from South India, in it's purest form. This 'Not-for-Profit' organization has conducted over 3500 stage performances all over India, United States of America, Singapore, Malaysia, Kingdom of Bahrain, Republic of China, Sultanate of Oman & Canada.

The Artistes of Soundarya Natya Kalalaya Foundation have represented India at the International Art Festival held in the People's Republic of China in the year 2012, the Muscat International Festival in 2014 and the 34th edition of Le Mondial Des Cultures, Canada in 2015.

​

The Artistes have won several Titles, Awards and Scholarships in dance from various well-known institutions. Soundarya Natya Kalalaya also trains Artistes for Government-recognised examinations in Bharatanatyam.​

Under the guidance of Smt. Padmini Radhakrishnan, Soundarya Natya Kalalaya has presented around 120 Arangetrams. Today, the institution operates from 9 locations in India and abroad. Over 2,000 students have been trained by Smt Padmini Radhakrishnan, and Arangetram of over 120 Artistes have been performed. Smt. Padmini Radhakrishnan has groomed over 25 teachers, who spread this Fine Art globally.

With her Guru's blessings, Smt. Gomathi Manoj began a new chapter of the institution at New Jersey, USA & trains both young & adult students every year.
